LeLay is a current French artist whose abstract paintings combine geometry and color in a unique and innovative way. Le Lay is a listed and well noted artist. In 1993 he received in Paris the silver medal of “Arts-Sciences et Lettres” as well as the gold plated silver cross of the “French merit and devotion," In 1994 the medal of the city of Tarbes was given to him with some 20 other international artists. Le Lay is a member of the French Artist's Society and since 2000, he has been an associate of the “Accademia Internationale Grecimarino”. LeLay is also a member of the Chevalier académique” of the Academic Order of Verbano in Italy and in 2003, he became a “Noble académique” of the Accademia Internationale Gentilizia “Il Marzocco” of Florence.
