We have for your consideration a very large and amazing giant leaf wall sconce designed by Arturo pani. Manufactured in Mexico in the 1950s. Sconce consists of sheet metal copper with bent metal tubing. Sconce consists of a giant palm leaf design with palm leaf light orange fabric shades. Lamp is in great condition with light wear such as scratches or chips to black paint but overall beautiful patina. Lamp consists of 3 palm leaf fabric shades in a light orange color. Shades clip onto the light bulbs and are in great vintage condition with the perfect patina also some light fading to the fabric along with some marks but very small and look great with there patina no rips or tears or major stains. Still looking beautiful. All the giant leafs slide in and out of there tubing holes for easy ,safe shipping. Brass sockets are still gleaming with beauty also. Sconce works perfect and we attached a new cord with a switch with length so you can have your electrician cut to your length or have your electrician hard wire it inside the wall.this was pulled out of a restaurant in Mexico City around the 1960s -1970s due to it being torn down. and has been preserved and now after all these years for sale.now is your chance to own a great piece of vintage mid century modern that rarely is seen. A truly amazing sconce that is ready to grace your mid century modern home and bring illuminating beauty to your elegant decor.
Once purchased I will explain how it’s taken apart and assembled very easy to put back together. Also the large leaf located on the bottom of shades hides electrical. This is how it was created. Lamp use to be hard wired into the wall in the restaurant from what I was told from original owner.
The leaf located on the top is how this beauty hangs with a screw hole inside the black tubing then the leaf slides right beside the screw once hanged.
