This gorgeous king size rice poster bed is made by Theodore Alexander. It is made of thick mahogany wood with serpentine arched and molded edge headboard flanked by finely carved acanthus leaf and rice baluster turned posts with urn finials on top and solid brass rosette medallion at the bottom. A second configuration is available where the foot board spindles are removed and replaced with wood carved caps (included, please see picture). This bed is inspired by the 18th century American original and represents pure luxury and comfort. Retails at $9,600 (Please see the last photo from Theodore Alexander's website).
