Gaillardot exhibited at many Paris Salons, including Salon d'Automne, Salon des Independants, and Salon of the Societe Nationale des Beaux-Arts. He was cheif curator of the Salon du Dessin et de la Peinture a l'Eau, and held solo exhibitions in Paris, Cannes, Nice, and Dijon. He received a number of awards and gold medal.
