Image size … Read more Watercolor painting of a vineyard at harvest time, by Pierre Gaillardot (French, 1910-2002). Signed "P. Gaillardot" lower right. Image size without mat is 19.5" w x 12.5"h. Gaillardot exhibited at many Paris Salons, including Salon d'Automne, Salon des Independants, and Salon of the Societe Nationale des Beaux-Arts. He was cheif curator of the Salon du Dessin et de la Peinture a l'Eau, and held solo exhibitions in Paris, Cannes, Nice, and Dijon. He received a number of awards and gold medal.
