This unpretentious console table, or server, was hand-crafted of solid chestnut in England, circa 1820. The thick planks of the top have incredible texture, a rich patina, and chamfered corners. Within the large apron are three deep drawers opened by Chinoiserie-inspired brass drop handles. The whole is supported by thick, squared, straight legs without bottom stretchers. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this wonderful server will make a fine addition to a dining room, keeping room, or even an office. Please view the detailed images. less
