The top part of the lamp, which is rotatable, contains eight elongated openings through which the light emanates in a playful way.
The bottom of the lamp is relatively heavy, because of this and due to a flattening at the bottom, the lamp can be positioned at an angle. This confirms the playful character of the design. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
