Unique large glass hanging lamp from the 1960s, designed by the famous Helena Tynell for Glashütte Limburg. This iconic lamp is a beautiful example of Space Age design and an absolute eye-catcher in any interior. The gold-colored, spherical brass lamp holder carries an impressive ocher yellow transparent glass shade. The shade features circular bulges, reminiscent of air bubbles or marbles – a characteristic detail of many of Helena Tynell's designs. When switched off, the lamp is already a work of art in itself, but once illuminated it creates an attractive bubble design on the walls. The lamp is in very neat condition. The brass fixture has been carefully polished and the lamp has a new cord. Ready for immediate use.
