It has been professionally restored/refinished in the Leighton Hall Restoration shop within the last year. We think it looks better now than when it was new. The restoration included: refinishing the top with Leighton Hall’s premiere hand rubbed and polished semi-gloss sheen, new American-made metal slides, new solid mahogany apron, new latches, new undercoating, and new pedestals. Any imperfections are so small, they do not show up in photographs. less

This is a classic English mahogany dining table. It features a swirly crotch mahogany field with a Santos Rosewood (Pau Ferro) border. It has a solid mahogany three beaded edge and two classic pedestals with fluted legs which terminate with antique brass lion’s paw feet.
This table is ideal for a person who wants a classic period table from England but in nearly new condition. We estimate this table to be 50-60 years old. It has been refinished/restored in the Leighton Hall restoration shop. We proudly believe that it looks better now than when it was new. It features Leighton Hall’s premiere hand rubbed and polished semi-gloss finish. It has been restored within the last year with a new finish and undercoating, American-made metal slides, latches, solid mahogany apron and pedestals. See “Condition” for details.
