Painted with energetic brushstrokes in soft hues of pink, cream, and blue, this bouquet is vibrant yet quiet. As the title suggests, it is a harbinger of the summer color to come. The piece is framed in a warm silver frame with a hand-painted band of deep blue.

The painting measures 14x12 inches, and with the frame the overall measurements are approximately 18x14 inches.

About the artist: GC (Ginny) Williams has a degree in art history which gave her an understanding of, and appreciation for, not only the art of the past, but the historical events and ideologies that fostered various aesthetics, movements, and styles.
She studied at several classical ateliers, including three years at Boston's Academy of Realist Art. Her work has been shown in galleries throughout the US and is included in public and private collections. She maintains a studio on the north shore of Massachusetts. less
