Designed by … more Pair of armchairs in bamboo and rattan, enhanced with beautiful solid brass corners on the legs and armrests. Designed by gilles sermadiras for maison et jardin around 1955. Original webbing in jute and latex strips, new filling in looped jacquard (order this fabric here) the bamboo structures have been cleaned and stained by our restorer. They now offer a homogeneous and well-fixed patina. The jute webbing, on the right, was modified by the previous owners but this in no way alters the solidity or comfort of the armchairs. (new foam blocks + dacron wadding) h 76 cm x d 73 cm x l 69 cm. H seat 47 cm. Bibliography: magazine “plaisir de france”, november 1955. less
