Made circa 1960s … more A mid-century modern papier-mache sculpture titled "Heart of Cats" by French artist and designer Jeanne Valentine S.A. Made circa 1960s at the artist's studio located in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Original tag on bottom. Sculpture comes in 2-pieces as the head and main body disconnects. A whimsical yet modernistic composition with a long eye lashed cat decorated with hearts and a stylish bowtie. Valentine's delicately crafted, sophisticated papier-mache creations were found in the most elegant shops of New York, San Francisco, Dallas, Paris, and London. From a private collection. Measures 42 inches tall, 15 inches wide, and 12 inches deep. In very good vintage condition. less
