Hand signed by the artist on the bottom right with an annotation of 33/300 on the bottom left. Published in 1982. The artwork depicts football players at the 20 yard mark. Neiman is known as the “Father of Sports Art” and is the most widely recognized American sports and leisure artist in history. This artwork would be the perfect addition for a sports or game room. From a private collection. Dimensions: 40.75"h x 50.5"w x 1.5"d (framed). In very good vintage condition with some yellowing and discoloration in the margins.

Leroy Neiman (1921-2012) was an American artist who was best known for his vibrant and colorful paintings. He often depicted scenes of everyday life, such as sports and leisure activities. Neiman's work was popular with both the public and celebrities, and he even created a series of paintings for Playboy magazine. He traveled the world observing and painting leisure life, social activities, and athletic competitions including the Olympics, the Super Bowl, the World Series, the Kentucky Derby, championship boxing, PGA and The Masters golf tournament, The Ryder Cup, the World Equestrian Games, Wimbledon and other Grand Slam competitions, as well as night life, entertainment, jazz, and the world of casino gambling.
