Thomas Mann is an American metal artist based in Louisiana who has been creating and making for over 40 years. His work is vast and explores many themes and various mediums of metalwork and sculpture. This piece in particular is from his Techno-Romantic series of pieces featuring a narrative geometric hearts and nature influenced shapes. This piece displays a classic arrow through the heart motif with a postmodern spin. The face of the mirror features a brushed steel frame with tons of texture and various cut through shapes and marks. The center views a vertical rectangular mirror. At the bottom is a rectangular black and white stone on a metal grate. The Thomas Mann makers mark can be found on the backside of the piece as pictured above. This piece is in very good condition.
