- A French Louis XV period walnut bergere, circa 1760. The chair has been recently upholstered in a pale green ultra … more A French Louis XV period walnut bergere, circa 1760. The chair has been recently upholstered in a pale green ultra suede fabric and is in perfect condition. The wood parts are all original and the chair has a very mellow finish with great patination, possibly original finish. It is 35" high at the back by 25" wide at the front by 19" deep. Floor to seat height is 18". Please note that the chair measurements are approximate. (it was very hard to measure because of all the curves). This is a petit chair and would not be suitable for a large person or someone over 5 10". Guaranteed to be as described. less
