A rare, large, Northern European (Dutch) wall mirror, dating from the second half of the 17th century. It is 49" high by 40" wide by approx. 3 1/2" deep.. The back is solid oak, very thick and heavy. The front has carved ebony molding and brass repousse' decoration. The glass is in panels and the large central piece is a replacement. The smaller side glass panels are old and have some silvering degradation, it's quite lovely actually. There is some molding loss to the lower left corner and some brass loss to the left side. Please view all photos carefully. Guaranteed to be as described.
