It has a wonderful dry … Read more An exceptional Swedish daybed in traditional Gustavian style from the middle of the 19th century. It has a wonderful dry white surface with minor pleasing wear. The stretcher, arm sides and legs have ornate carving and this decoration is repeated on both sides allowing the daybed to free stand in the middle of the room rather than just against a wall. It is also the perfect length for the foot of a king size bed. It has been newly upholstered in an off white linen/cotton fabric. It is in excellent structural condition. See less
