While most Louis Philippe commodes we see feature some sort of wood veneer, this piece has been constructed from solid French Cherry, making it a unique and special find.

There is a large drawer concealed in the cornice (just below the marble top), and it includes an original Sainte Anne marble top. Below, three additional drawers have been expertly crafted with hand-dovetailed joinery, and offer plenty of storage space. The commode rests on stepped ogee style feet, and includes an original skeleton key (not operational).

This lovely chest of drawers would be a statement-making piece in an entryway, and would be equally graceful in a dining room as a buffet or sideboard, offering ample drawer space for your most prized possessions. See less
