Charlotte perriand doron hotel outdoor armchair for cassina already in the interior decor line, cassina introduces a solid teak outdoor version of the iconic doron hotel design armchair: comfortable, substantial, its soft, sleek lines pleasing to the touch. This armchair was designed in 1947 by charlotte perriand for the méribel les allues ski resort and for the hotel doron, one of the first chalet-hotels. The french designer was one of the first to take an interest in the relationship between humans and the surrounding environment, seeking out natural materials to use in her projects. The outdoor armchair can be paired with the table à plateau interchangeable, by charlotte perriand. Padding polyurethane foam. Base solid ash or canaletto walnut. Upholstery fabric, leather or saddle-hide. The doron hotel armchair was designed in 1947 by charlotte perriand, a real mountain lover, for the winter sports resort of méribel les allues and for hôtel doron, one of the first chalet-hotels, in the same location. The french designer always had a special and profound relationship with nature; in fact, she was one of the first to explore the relationship between man and his surrounding environment, seeking natural materials to use in her projects. Comfortable, textural and pleasant to the touch, the doron hotel armchair comes in the outdoor version as well. It can be paired with charlotte perriand’s table à plateau interchangeable.
