- Antique Louis Philippe Neapolitan console with mirror in gilded and carved wood belonging to the end of the 19th century. … more Antique Louis Philippe Neapolitan console with mirror in gilded and carved wood belonging to the end of the 19th century. The band under the top is a triumph of foliaceous flowers and leaves while a beautiful shell acts as a connecting "key" on the front. The four feet are connected by a rectangular shelf with a carved bottom behind it. The mirror is attached directly to the console creating a single body and is highlighted by three object shelves. The feet in the upper part have a dense carving with a leaf motif and end with an everted curl. Provenance: Naples 19th century. General Conditions: Excellent condition, but with non-coeval gilding.
