This lithograph “Les Aspects de la Nature - La Baie” is signed Henri Rivière and bears a red stamp at the bottom left and the publisher's stamp at the bottom left. The work is authentic and old.
On the litho, small spots.
For the condition, note in the margin, a slight horizontal fold at the top, the top left corner is slightly bent, a few small stains and ink lines.
The lithograph is very fresh in color, once framed most of the defects will be barely visible.

Henri Rivière (1864-1951) is a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, from the shadow theater to the Chat Noir cabaret, shows which he improves by creating very innovative colored sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, prints, wood engraving, lithography and watercolor (he painted about a thousand watercolors).
