While the bentwood construction nods to the iconic style of Alvar Aalto, the woven seat and backrest show an influence from Japanese designer Noboru Nakamura, known for his work with Ikea.
Materials: High-quality bentwood frame with a woven fabric seat and back.Condition: Excellent vintage condition with light wear consistent with age.
The Poem chair was originally designed by Noboru Nakamura in 1977 and was renamed Poäng in 1992.
The design is based on the Artek Armchair 406, designed by Alvar Aalto in 1939.
