Early 17th Century Hand Crafted English Jacobean Slant Front Desk on Later Stand also fashioned in oak. Intricate hand carved detailing on the front and side panels. Interior fitted with 3 inlayed oak drawers with hand carved wood pulls. Very much original condition. Aged waxed finish. Very special piece.
Provenance: Purchased from the estate of George Maharis - famed actor in the early 1960's television series Route 66.
