Mont's clientele included Hollywood celebrities such as Bob Hope and Irving Berlin, as well as east coast mobsters like Lucky Luciano and Frank Costello. His Charlie Chan meets Rita Hayworth aesthetic- modernizing chinoiserie inspired elements- is as aesthetically compelling as it is timeless. The tables feature pedestal bases, with fluted columns and silver leaf acanthus details along the four corners of the base.
