The plywood beech frame and legs show some signs of vintage wear such as the aforementioned repair (shown in the photos provided) as well as other minor nicks and scratches (the worst of which can be seen in the detail photos provided). With that said the wood is in overall very good condition. The leather does show some signs of wear with a four inch-long rip repaired (shown in the detail photos provided) as well as as some minor dimples in the leather (also shown in the detail photos provided). With that said the leather is in overall very good shape. As purists we strive to keep our pieces in as original condition as possible but if you'd prefer to have this chair reupholstered please message us prior to checkout to discuss options and pricing. Both chair and ottoman swivel 360 degrees with ease. This chair and ottoman set is the epitome of comfort, are structurally sound and ready for decades more of use.
