Made … more Desk, Era & style: Neo-Renaissance style 1st third of the 20th century Large, brilliant desk in the Neo-Renaissance style. Made from the finest oak, this first-class desk impresses with its stately presence. with a variety of carvings typical of the style, above the lion's paws, which are depicted in great detail, this free-standing figure attracts everyone's attention. Further stylistic elements in the form of a coat of arms can be found on the cheeks of the impressive desk. Floral ornaments frame the coat of arms and are crowned by a juggler portrait head. The cheeks are held in place by a large, profiled desk top and a striking crossbar. The snailed frame corners and the elaborately crafted drawers give the free-standing unit a luxurious appearance.
