A young naked woman who seems to emerge from the water, leaning against a rock, with her long hair coming down to her chest in a single lock, as if it were soaked in water; her eyes are closed, as if suddenly surprised by the light; a modern Venus, in which the raw and unrefined consistency of the terracotta gives the work an organic, almost primordial presence, a sort of rebirth from the purity of water to the blinding violence of human emotions that leads you to cling to the solidity of the earth.
The sculpture is signed "Jade" both on the bottom and below the base. less
