Patina to the wood appropriate to its age. There is a crack, pictured in the center of the desk, it does not compromise the movement of the rolling feature. The drawers move smoothly, the whole piece is solid and extremely well built. The chair has been left in its original condition. Structurally it is sound, it rocks and swivels easily. Refinishing it is the choice of the buyer. The typewriter is a work horse! it just needs a new ribbon and a gentle cleaning. All three pieces are in remarkably good condition for their age. less

This glorious desk has a secret: the vintage Royal typewriter rolls easily down and can be hidden when you're finished writing for the day.
Likely dating from the early 20th century, this desk features two sets of drawers with handy compartments for filing, the aforementioned typewriter, and a matching chair that swivels and rocks.
It is so unique and a sight to see.
The top of the desk was originally covered in laminate, which was removed, lightly sanded, and replaced with a coat of Danish oil. The possibility of refinishing or leaving it in its current patinaed state is up to the buyer.
The desk is magnificently well made, solid, and sturdy. It shows some signs of age and wear, as to be expected. Overall, it is in good vintage/antique condition.
This is your muse desk! and would be right at home in an office or study. The typewriter could be removed and replaced with your laptop!
The desk is 50" wide, by 30" deep, 30 1/2" tall.
