- Grandfather clock Era & style: England, 1st half of the 19th century : - veneered in mahogany and pyramid mahogany, … more Grandfather clock Era & style: England, 1st half of the 19th century : - veneered in mahogany and pyramid mahogany, partly solid mahogany - curved top removable - dial flanked by turned columns - elaborately designed clock case - pyramid mahogany mirrored in many ways on the front - hand-painted Dial with Roman numerals, second hand and day indicator - finely crafted brass hands - Door of the clock box is lockable - pendulum and two iron weights behind it - clock and door key included - turned and carved feet. The grandfather clock is in good condition with signs of age-related wear. The clock ran briefly, but we recommend that the movement be serviced by a watchmaker.
