We are selling this well carved Italian grand tour sculpture. This alabaster carving is after the Venus De Medici which was a Hellenistic sculpture. The figure is carved from a nice off white piece of alabaster and mounted on a later pedestal bottom. The statue is probably late 19th or early 20th century.
Condition: Good antique condition. Some losses to the fingers and a break to the base which is why it is mounted on a much later bottom pedestal piece.
