On the whole, the shining blue porcelain and chrome towel bars and legs make for a fine looking piece. We don't just go with the superficial in describing what we sell, so this is a detailed, top to bottom picture of what we found. The porcelain on the top, rear horizontal section is fine, save for a 0.06" chip on the left side and very fine scratches on the front of the two ends. The two vertical end pieces and the surface where the faucet resides, down to the bottom of the bowl, are very good with no blemishes found. The original faucet spout and handles look very good, with chrome that is better than average for the age. They have not been tested with water, but the movement of the handles feels correct. The area running around the sides and front of the bowl are also in fine shape, with no chips and only the finest of scratches present. Even the "soap dish" indents to the left and right are nice. The majority of the time these spots are rough where the lye in the soap has slowly deteriorated the porcelain. The towel bars are good overall. There is some light pitting to the chrome in areas, but on the whole they look nice. There are a few tiny, shallow dings in the bowl, the largest measuring 0.15" - and the others are much smaller. These do not stand out at, but we discovered them while looking at every surface up close. The drain plug has a good top surface and slight discoloration at the bottom (that is not seen when installed). The outside of the sink; front and sides look very for the age with a glossy finish, no chips, cracks or crazing, and only some light scratches, mainly on the outside corners. There are other tiny blemishes here and there that upon close examination were found to be part of the sink originally, produced by the manufacturing process. There is what looks like a chip at the rear near the "Standard" logo that we determined is part of the make up of the sink, as it appears to have a glaze over it. The porcelain of the underside of the sink is nearly spotless, with no issues found to report. It is most likely in nearly the same condition as when the sink was new. The pipe piece at the center looks OK with virtually no corrosion found, and the same is true for the faucet parts. The legs have light to normal chrome pitting, and they look very good from a normal distance. They are straight, and the height adjustment is smooth on both. This sink requires a wall bracket that is not present. One can be purchased for a little as $10 online and at hardware stores. less

* It was found that the color appeared to slightly change with every different angle while getting the pictures. It is basically light blue, but darker than sky blue.
*** This piece is described in greater detail than is normally found, as the camera likes to hide blemishes with items such as this. There are pictures included with and without the use of flash in an attempt to show the details. The description is accurate to the best of our knowledge, and areas are pointed out that may look nearly flawless in the pictures.
