An incomparably beautiful and well-made cabinet in teak with a golden warm tone that immediately brings to mind classic Scandinavian design. Here, the designer has really spared no expense in terms of options for material selection and execution, which means that the cabinet really radiates both quality and style. It is of course Danish craftsmanship where every detail has been carefully considered to create a harmonious and timeless piece of furniture that fits into any home. The cabinet's elegant lines make it a true timeless classic and an investment that will stand the test of time over the years.
The cabinet is manufactured by Georg Petersen's Møbelfabrik in Denmark and it is claimed to be Johannes Andersen who designed the cabinet but it is not documented.
The cabinet has an exterior of two sliding doors, two doors and two drawers, and all of these have elongated, gently curved handles that give an elegant feel.
Behind the sliding doors are shelves that can be moved and removed, which makes them very flexible and adaptable as needed. Sliding shutters are really practical, as they do not require any space to open, which can be a big advantage in, for example, tight spaces where every square meter counts.
Behind the left door, there are also four shallow drawers that are perfect for organizing various small items. with these practical solutions, it becomes easier to keep order and create a more functional home.
Behind the middle doors is a fantastic bar cabinet with a mirror decorated with period motifs. In addition, there is a curved balcony with plenty of space for both decanters and bottles, which provides the opportunity for a beautiful arrangement of your favourites. with simple steps, it is also possible to install a practical led strip to illuminate the interior of the cabinet, which gives an extra dimension and creates a warm and inviting atmosphere when the cabinet is opened.
Under the bar cabinet there are two substantial drawers with drawer bottoms in noble wood and both drawers are fresh and sturdy.
Around the front of the cabinet there is a scalloped molding that elegantly frames the cabinet and gives it depth in a very decorative way. This molding not only contributes to the aesthetics of the cabinet, but also affects how the light falls and is reflected on the surface.
The leg stand is in a slightly darker tone and is softly shaped. The legs are cockily angled but also linked for excellent stability. It is easy to dismantle the leg support during transport.
