a drawer topped with a shell handle at each end.
extension system via metal pulls sliding in wooden cleats, which have been changed over time and are not original. The extensions, in pine, are not original either, but have been adapted and made to measure. They are placed robustly on the cleats then a metal end allows them to be securely attached to the table. Very easy to install and very stable.
restored, this table was sanded, treated, then protected with a transparent matte varnish.
the oak is very old and therefore has this color so typical of old oak, rather dark.
defects may be present due to its great age, please refer to the numerous photos.
the drawers slide in their compartment, but i point out that they do not come with a slide so you have to guide them to insert them.
