This remarkable vintage sectional couch from the renowned B&B Italia dates back to the 1980s and features a versatile neutral color palette that complements a variety of home décor styles. More details:
The sofa consists of three modular sections. The far right module features a rounded tan leather chaise with a contrasting black armrest. The middle and far left sections are upholstered in a multi-shade cream textile fabric. The far right loveseat module is designed with a matching black rounded armrest that complements the chaise section. Each section can be utilized as separate seating areas or securely connected to form a complete sofa of extended length. Notably, the far right and left sections can be linked together without the middle section, allowing for a shorter configuration.
The cushions are thick and exceptionally comfortable, each section is equipped with supportive filled back pillows that correspond to their respective seating areas. All seat cushion and pillow covers are removable and machine washable, and the upholstery on the frame can also be detached for cleaning. If there is a desire to reupholster this sofa in the future, the removable cushion covers easily facilitate this process. This piece is marked with an authentic B&B Italia attribution.
This beautiful sofa was gifted to my parents in the early 1990s by close friends who originally purchased it from Italy in the 1980s. It was originally used in their vacation home in Palm Springs. My family enjoyed this sofa in San Francisco during the 1990s and later relocated it to Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1999. Throughout the years, it has provided comfort to our family as we transitioned from elementary school to high school and into college, and we continue to cherish it as we gather at my parents' home. The next generation has also appreciated this couch during visits to their grandparents' house. Additionally, the sofa has served as a guest bed for Thanksgiving visitors, comfortably accommodating two children or one adult when the back cushions are removed. All previous environments have been smoke-free. This piece has been lovingly maintained across multiple generations and remains in great condition; it is difficult to find such quality furniture in mainstream stores. Although we all love this piece, my parents are downsizing, and it has become too large for our current living arrangements. We hope to find someone who appreciates its postmodern charm and can carry this unique piece of furniture into the coming decades. less
