Antique French Louis XVI style daybed from the town of Joigny. This Louis XVI style daybed is completely unrestored and wears all of its original paint. Upholstery is 100% pure wool mohair covering new cushions, and although not original to the daybed, it shows signs of years of wear that only add to the overall antique patina of the piece. In the imagery we are also showing the daybed styled with new decorative pillows to show how it can be used in a more contemporary manner. All pillows shown are included in the sale price.
This piece could also easily be used as a guest bed due to the seat cushion size being similar to a twin bed.
**The sides are 35" high. The finial is an additional 2.5". less
