Description: A small but very impactful mid century modernist composition in oil, painted onto canvas board. Presented with a focus on … more A small but very impactful mid century modernist composition in oil, painted onto canvas board. Presented with a focus on color and form, the composition features two figures by a tree, against a watery background resembling a river bank. The assembly of playful angle, line and shape creates different planes of color with beautiful contrast. A rich palette of earthy colors in shades of green, brown and dark blue shine against a light blue background which alludes to water or sky.

This piece is in very good condition, as is it's frame. There is a minor crease line on the canvas, but this is does not detract from the overall appearance.
