The table is mahogany and mahogany veneer … more An American Federal mahogany pembroke table, Rhode Island, John Townsend school, circa 1810. The table is mahogany and mahogany veneer with chestnut secondary. The top has fine stringing in a light wood and there is a working drawer and a dummy drawer. On square, slightly tapered legs, ending in brass caps and casters. The table is 28" high by 33 1/2" wide by 21 1/2" deep when closed. Open, the table is 33 1/2" by 40". Condition is good overall, with blemishes to the top, some missing cockbeading on the drawer and some moulding missing on the top of the legs. The table has been re-finished and the pulls are not original. Guaranteed to be as described. less
