- A superb English Regency period rosewood sewing or work table, circa 1820. The table features dramatic rosewood, inlaid with brass. … more A superb English Regency period rosewood sewing or work table, circa 1820. The table features dramatic rosewood, inlaid with brass. With two drop leaves and two working drawers with "dummy drawers" on the back. There is a working lock and key for the drawers. The legs ending in brass caps and casters. The sides of the table have gilt brass lyres and the gilt hardware on the drawers is original and fabulous. The table has a nice original finish, the top being slightly distressed. Note: underneath the drawer is a pull out section where the original sewing basket would have been. It can still accommodate a basket should you decide to add one. It is 16" wide by 20" deep by 30" high. Opened the top is 28" wide. Guaranteed to be as described. less
