An exquisite sculptural wood vase of turned cherry burl by the late artist, Melvin Lindquist. He honed his craft at home, exploring the idea of the vase through woodturning. A craft Perfected over a 50 year timespan. He was one of the main founding members of the American Wood Turners Association of American Crafts. Lindquist’s pieces are highly sought after. His work is found in private collections worldwide, museums and corporations. Signed “L 5-78 Wild Cherry Burl” on base.
