Originally used for grain storage, it has been repurposed by downsizing and adding a front door. The original lid is now sealed and the cabinet is painted in typical colors of the region - black lacquer for the frames and top surface, red for the door and carved bottom apron, and cream with blue, red, and green flower paintings on the central rectangle of the door. The cabinet has an aged, muted look and a single removable shelf inside for unique storage in any space. less
