Originally used for storing grain, it has been repurposed into a modern storage unit with a door added and the original fixed panel adapted. The interior can still be accessed by removing a lid on the top. The cabinet has traditional colors with black lacquer frames and red and cream front. The front is painted with a vase of flowers and a calligraphy brush pot, reflecting the owner's scholarly status. The colors have faded over time, giving the cabinet an aged appearance.
