The front of this 18th century folding chest of drawers is punctuated by three large drawers, surmounted by the flap and two rows of inclined drawers. It rests on bracket feet.

It comes from a private collection in Milan, is in good condition and has been perfectly restored by our laboratory with a shellac and wax finish. During the restoration it emerged that this piece of furniture was built without the use of nails; the joints are all interlocking and the bottoms of the drawers have been secured with wooden pins. less
