This workshop lamp was produced between 1935-1937 by … more Large Kandem workshop table lamp model 566 with light gray enamel shade. This workshop lamp was produced between 1935-1937 by Körting & Mathiesen in Leipzig. The German lamp manufacturer Kandem was founded in Leipzig in 1889. This lamp is beautifully designed with the correct proportions. We disassembled this lamp, restored it, polished it and provided it with a layer of clear lacquer. We then fitted this lamp with a new grounded twisted 200 cm fabric cord and plug. The enamel hood contains the original fitting with rotary switch. Normally these lamps were mounted on the wall or on a machine in a workshop. We have mounted this on a matching heavy metal base. A particularly beautiful Bauhaus classic that fits into any interior!
