This pair of Elipson BS404 speakers exemplifies the innovative design and audio technology of mid-20th century France. Designed in the 1960s by Joseph Léon, these spherical speakers were first developed for professional use, particularly for cinema and studios, but their futuristic aesthetic quickly gained popularity in high-end interiors. Each speaker is made of staff, giving it a structure that is both lightweight and durable, with a textured white finish. The spherical shape is not only aesthetic but also functional, designed to reduce internal resonance and improve sound dispersion. Compact top-mounted tweeters further refine acoustic performance, delivering crisp highs and detailed soundscapes. The speakers sit on minimalist black metal tripod bases, giving them an elevated, sculptural presence. Tested and fully functional. Some detachments and signs of age on the fiberglass / rare model Diameter 46cm. This piece has an attribution mark,
