We find this armchair for the first time in the second supplement (oktober 1904) of the general catalog of thonet 1904. This seat n°6285, had its counterpart, "kanapée" and "schankelfauteuil" we find it in a German catalog in 1906, in a Belgian catalog in 1909, in 1912 but not beyond. It is equipped with the linking system of the legs n°265 (see attached sketch) which will be frequently used during the Viennese Secession and during the Art Deco.
