Description: Console with mirror in neoclassical style made in the last quarter of the 19th century. Top in old stain marble, … more Console with mirror in neoclassical style made in the last quarter of the 19th century. Top in old stain marble, the console has two carved shelf uprights with a bottom decorated with a carved flower vase with garlands. Neoclassical carving motifs also embellish the mirror which contains a panel painting with a gallant scene in the cymatium. the entire surface is ivory lacquered with gilded parts, especially carvings. The festoon motif is painted in gilded background. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
