Late 1970s Pop Art red race car chandelier/pendant Lamp featuring a very Memphis-inspired design with simple playful almost cartoonish colors and forms with a post-modern geometric design. The body is made from formed sheet metal that has been enameled in red with two chromed light-up headlights and two chromed light-up exhaust pipes. The top of the race car features a top main light with a white milk glass globe for soft light.
The lamp features a 2-way switch for the front headlights and can be lit independently for a focused glow, or paired with the globe light for a layered ambiance. For maximum brightness, all lights can be turned on together, or left off to let the piece serve as a bold decorative element. This unique lamp combines function with nostalgic charm, making it an ideal choice for car enthusiasts or anyone looking to add a touch of vintage flair to their space.
It is conveniently designed with a plug for use as a table lamp but can be rewired with a hanging lamp chain at no cost upon request.
