I had the good fortune to shop the estate of Seymour Stein. (1942-2023). If you are not familiar with Mr Stein I would take a minute and google him. A man with a life that has touched us all.
Mr Stein was quite a collector and I was able to make a few purchases this painting being one of them. The only information to be had is the simple marking of Benjamin on the back. Not sure if Benjamin is the sitter or the painter.
