This two, tone arm … more Submitted for your consideration is this hard to find, very original Cromwell Record Player and Reproducer.
This two, tone arm system allowed both amateurs and professionals in the 1930's and 40's to both play and make (cut) records. It also includes an AM radio.
These units were manufactured by Audio Industries and General Industries for Cromwell.
Few remain in modern times.
This machine was able to handle both 78 RPM records and the NEW 33 1/3 RPM records just coming onto the market.
This unit has ALL the original electronics and parts but has only been given a gentle cosmetic restoration so it can be proudly displayed.
It is not sold here as a fully working machine.
We believe that a full working restoration is VERY possible as all the original parts seem to be intact.
Lots of patina and original bakelite.
Vintage Red Shellac dated 1921, 78 rpm record disc is included.
A wonderful display piece of Art Deco phonography.
As with all of our pieces, a signed and sealed "Certificate of Authenticity" is included with your purchase.
NOTE: Our selling prices are usually pre discounted
and intended to be at ‘Designer Net’
and ‘To The Trade’ price levels.
However, we ALWAYS welcome discussions and exploration
of your budgetary requirements
and how we MAY be able to help meet those cost targets
with additional discounts or courtesies.
