In this series of Mid-Century inspired paintings I'm exploring shape, color and texture. I love the color contrasts in this piece. It is an original oil painting on a hardboard canvas panel, varnished for protection. The vintage frame is a distressed off-white and gold. This frame has a lot of patina and texture, there are areas of worn paint and the gold leaf is also aged and distressed.
The overall size of the piece is 11"x13" with the inner painting at 8"x10", perfect for a bookshelf.
