Connecticut or Massachusetts circa 1780-1800
Pine seat, maple crest rail, with oak spindles. Unusual cut ears on the crest rail. These are correct, I have seen this variant in chairs of this type from Connecticut, made around the same timeframe.
Size: 17” wide, 15 1/2” deep, 35” tall, and a 16 1/2” seat height
Condition: Refinished. Lots of wear and patina. Old patch repair on the crest rail and seat. See pictures. Wear and age related scuffs/dings are consistent with age and use.
